About
A house, not a studio.
Cléo Rome is a boutique luxury wedding and events house creating beautifully considered celebrations, guest experiences and advisory for people and brands who value meaning as much as beauty.
It is built as five pillars beneath one house — Experiences, Advisory, Academy, Family and Foundation. That structure is deliberate. Experiences is the work most people meet first, but a house that only produces events is a house that depends entirely on the two people producing them. Advisory extends the standard beyond our own calendar. Academy writes the method down. Family is the circle that makes any of it possible. Foundation is what the whole thing is for.
Founders
Melissa and Dennis.
Director, Creative
Melissa Lloyd
Melissa owns the creative vision, design and styling, the client relationship, and the supplier and venue partnerships. She leads the Experiences arm.
“I’ve always believed that people rarely remember events exactly as they happened. They remember how they felt.”
After years leading guest experience and luxury hospitality, I realised the moments that stay with us aren’t accidental. They’re thoughtfully designed, through genuine hospitality, meaningful details and calm execution behind the scenes. Cléo Rome was created from that belief.
Because luxury isn’t about excess. It’s about creating moments people carry with them long after the day is over.
Director, Managing
Dennis Joseph
Dennis is the engine behind the house. He owns operations, finance and contracts, the systems and technology, the sales pipeline, business development, legal and compliance, hiring, and the plan for scaling. He leads Advisory.
Every proposal is prepared from Melissa’s tier selection and notes, and every contract issued for signature, so the creative work is never interrupted by the commercial machinery around it.
The split between the two roles is deliberate and equal. Neither sits above the other — which is what the equal partnership and the matching director titles are meant to signal.
Vision
To change the way luxury hospitality makes people feel — quietly, and from the inside.
Mission
Because the moments that matter most deserve to be remembered beautifully.
And the four principles that answer for it
Meaning before aesthetics
Every detail exists for a reason. If it does not serve the feeling of the day, it does not belong.
Invisible excellence
Luxury should never feel complicated, and the work behind it should never be visible to a guest.
Undivided attention
We hire ahead of demand rather than stretch the people we have.
Calm leadership
Composure is a deliverable, not a personality trait.
Brand personality
If Cléo Rome walked into a room, she’d never be the loudest.
She’d be the person everyone quietly trusted.
