Who we are
This site is operated by Cléo Rome Pty Ltd (ABN 67 700 684 966), a company registered in New South Wales and based in Sydney, Australia. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Cléo Rome Pty Ltd.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address, telephone number, the nature of your enquiry, the date and location of your event, approximate guest numbers, and anything you write in the message field.
If you join a waitlist, book a session or apply to join the Family, we collect the details required for that purpose.
Like most websites, we also collect limited technical information automatically — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type — through analytics.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to prepare proposals and contracts, to deliver the services you engage us for, to coordinate with suppliers where necessary for your event, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We will only send you marketing communications if you have asked to receive them, and every such message includes a way to stop receiving them.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with suppliers and venues only where it is necessary to deliver your event, and only the information they need. We also use service providers who host this website, manage our forms and bookings, and process payments.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose guest lists, budgets or event details to anyone outside your engagement.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for essential functionality and for analytics. You can refuse non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed are kept for two years. Records relating to engaged work are kept for seven years, as required for tax and corporate record-keeping.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to dennis@cleorome.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
